Nicaragua & Honduras:
Travis & Mindy Stewart
Grapevine Church is the sponsoring congregation of Travis & Mindy Stewart as they serve the people of Nicaragua at Misión Para Cristo.
Mindy and Travis work daily with both the local workers and the summer trips to ensure that the mission can run smoothly year round.
Travis focuses on operations, sustainable living, and construction projects while Mindy focuses on healthcare and local women’s ministries.

Mision Para Cristo
Misión Para Cristo is a year-round ministry based in Jinotega, Nicaragua that has a mission of sharing Jesus Christ with the people of Nicaragua and Honduras.
It has operated for more than 20 years under the leadership and guidance of Benny & Donna Baker.
Areas of Focus:
– Health care
– Feeding the hungry
– Education in the Jinotega and Matagalpa regions
– Providing shelter
– Caring for children
Specific Areas Grapevine Partners with Misión Para Cristo:
– SMILE Boxes – Grapevine collects different items each month to help fill a need of over 10,000 Christmas-style boxes for the local kids in Nicaragua.
– Kingdom Kids – A child sponsorship program that connects local children in need with sponsors in the US to help with school, supply, and clothing costs.
– Summer Mission Teams – When possible, summer trips are formed and sent down to help with the continual work that goes on in and around the Jinotega region of Nicaragua.

Ukraine
Oleg & Eldar Bakhishev
Oleg and Eldar Bakhishev are brothers who live and work in Kurakhovo, Ukraine and run a growing congregation of about 30 members just 15 miles from the conflict in Donetsk, Ukraine.
They serve their community by:
– Providing supplies to the needy
– Visiting hospitals and the sick
– Helping the local children
Grapevine Church provides economic support for these families who are working in these extreme conditions.
They do no have a church building and are currently using a government office that housed military troops and vehicles.
Zhenya & Anya Dovzhenko
Zhenya & Anya Dovzhenko and their two kids are missionaries in the Ivano- Frankivsk area in Western Ukraine. They are active in helping the church grow in that region.
They serve their community by:
– Character International
– Kid’s Club
– Adult’s Club
Grapevine Church provides economic
support for this family who spent a year worshipping with the body in Grapevine and are now serving the Lord in Western Ukraine.
